Lord Mayor of Dublin Launch's Free Christmas Draw

On Thursday November 10th the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr Andrew Montague launched Ballymun Market’s christmas promotion. Over the next few weeks why not drop in and get the chance to enter a fantastic free draw. Any shopper who buys a bargain at Ballymun's indoor market will enter our draw with a chance to win some great prizes. The top prize will see the winner spending a 3 night mid week break in Derry’s Travelodge Hotel. Second prize will see the winner well fed this Christmas with a Christmas Dinner Hamper for four people containing turkey, ham, veg and all the trimmings. The final prize is a seasonal treat too. A Christmas Treats Hamper will see you spoiled over the winter festivities with all your favourite goodies.

December 8th - Santa’s BIG Helpers
On Thursday December 8th at 4pm, Santa along with some BIG helpers from the market will turn on the Christmas tree lights on Ballymun Plaza . There will be Christmas Carols from the Ballymun Gospel Choir and Santa might even have a little treat for all those who have helped. During the day, Why not drop down to the market where shoppers will be treated to live music and there will be arts and crafts for the kids to enjoy.

December 22nd - Packing up for Christmas
The last market before Christmas takes place on December 22nd. If you have forgotten any last minute presents why note drop across and see what bargains are left. At 1pm the Lord Mayor will pull the winning entries for our raffle and to get everyone in the mood Tir Na Nog will be treating market customers to some mulled wine and mince pies.

One of our most popular stalls is Alan's fish, With fresh fish available from 9am you have to get there early before he sells out. Dublin bay prawns, fresh muscles, smoked and fresh cod, ray and haddock available on different days and all frsh from the sea.
